For landlords in London
Private landlords in England must have the electrical installation in each rented property inspected and tested at least every five years. A qualified electrician carries out the EICR and you get the report digitally, with clear findings and next steps.
Price: From £129 — you see the full price before you book.

Your EICR is sent digitally. If work is needed, we explain the findings and can quote the remedials.
At least every 5 years, or sooner if the previous report says so. Many landlords also test between tenancies if the installation is older or has been altered.
C1 means danger is present and needs immediate action. C2 means potentially dangerous. FI means further investigation is required. C3 means improvement is recommended. A report with any C1, C2 or FI is unsatisfactory.
You need to have the required remedial work done within 28 days, or sooner if the report states a shorter time, and send written confirmation to your tenant and the local council. We can quote the remedial work or you can use your own electrician.
